High Quality Down Cluster
Milo 92 ltd. has been working with natural down since the founding of the company in 1992. Due to our vast experience in manufacturing down products gained through the years, we consider ourselves experts in the area. For this reason we choose our materials from the best that is offered on the international market.
Since 2011 we have been working with Down Creators, which is the only company on the Bulgarian market that is maintaining a high-level down feather manufacture. One of the characteristics of the down feathers we are using is their 90/10 down feather quality – or in other words 90% down and 10% feathers. PERTEX
For our down production we use the down-specific fabric Pertex, manufactured by the Japanese company Mitsui Bussan Techno Products. Pertex incorporates the perfect balance between weight, strength and breathability, making it an extremely suitable fabric for down equipment. For our down production we prefer using Pertex Endurance as an outer fabric, as it provides the strongest insolation along with a 1 000 mm waterproof membrane, while maintaining very light weight and high flexibility. Pertex Endurance perfectly manages to balance protection from rain and snow on the outside with the ability to let water vapor (warm perspiration) escape from the inside. For our inner fabric we use Pertex Classic, which is an extremely light and comfortable material. Pertex is a fabric preferred and used in the production of professional equipment by many international brands such as Mammut, North Face, Millet, Black Diamond, etc.,..
POLARTEC
Besides our down production, we are also specialized in manufacturing equipment with the fabric Polartec, produced by the American Company POLARTEC. Polartec is a light, warm, breathable, fast-drying fabric. The Polartec fleece has a lofted fiber structure that creates thermal air pockets designed to preserve and regulate body warmth. Unlike cheaper replicas, Polartec retains its solation characteristics after multiple machine washes. In Milo-92 we use the Polartec Classic series, which is considered as an international standard for quality and durability. Polartec Classic 200 is the most universal variation in the series, providing the best balance between weight, warmth and volume. Polartec have been long-standing partners of many international brands like Adidas, Deuter, Millet, The North Face, K2, Jack Wolfskin and many more.
CONCORDIA
For specialized workwear, along with breathable equipment we use fabrics from the Belgium company Concordia Textiles, with the following parameters: Water Column: 5 000 mm Breathability: outside in 1500mm – g/m2.24h, inside out 4500 – g/m2.24h. We are using a laminating technology for our Concordia fabric production.
Zippers and Accessories from YKK
YKK is the brand we have chosen and are using for all of our production. In order to be able to rely on your sleeping bag or jacket in the high mountain, we need to be certain nothing will break or malfunction at the worst possible time. This is the reason we chose YKK, where quality is top priority.
